CA$H 4 Food: Help Make the Most of a Matching Fund to Feed the Hungry

The Community Christian Service Agency (CCSA) will be holding its 3rd annual CA$H 4 Food
drive from June 15th through June 30th.  This is a great opportunity for you to assist CCSA in feeding the hungry in our community.

The Clairemont-based non-profit has obtained funds that will be used to match the first $5,000 donated. All funds-- 100%--received in the Ca$h 4 Food drive through the end of June will be used specifically to purchase food.

CCSA has the ability to purchase food from Feeding America and the San Diego Food Bank at prices well below retail grocery store prices, making your donations go even farther. These funds will be used as needed during the year to replenish the food supply and to make purchases to fill in the gaps in donated supplies so that CCSA can continue to provide those they serve with healthy and nutritious meals.

The Clairemont-based Community Christian Service Agency serves over 26,000 residents of San Diego County with emergency food, clothing, and referral services.
