CHS Seniors Raise Money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society to Honor Friend

by Tori K.
Hello, I am a senior at Clairemont High School and a few of my friends and I recently just began a campaign to raise money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
It is called "The Cure For Courtney" in honor of our good friend Courtney Dunar who was diagnosed with the disease in the middle of freshman year and once again this past August, at the beginning of senior year.

This project began as a senior project, but it quickly transcended into so much more; we have made it our goal to raise $10,000 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All the money that the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society generates goes into research to find treatments that are more effective and in the great scheme of things, to find the cure.

We are really trying to expand our campaign to the whole community. To learn more about our project or to donate please check out our website at www.sdhi.sy.llsevent.org/thecureforcourtney
