Surprise Art in Clairemont

Did you know there is a group of local artists, the Clairemont Art Guild, that is showing some of their work in the windows of an empty storefront in Clairemont Square near the post office?  There's no sign outside, and the door was locked, but the look of that rarest of things in Clairemont, an art gallery, caught the photographer's eye.

Check their website for more info about the  Clairemont Art Guild which was founded in 1954. The group meets the 3rd Saturday of the month, January to December, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 3450 Clairemont Drive. The public is welcome, the meeting starts at 12:30.
